NetHomeServer X10 Connection
X10 is a system for remote control of switches, weather stations and sensors. Control signals are transmitted via the mains cabels.
NetHomeServer interfaces with the X10-system via the CM12-interface module. The NetHomeServer can act in several roles with the X10-system:
- Remote control of devices - you can switch on and off lamps via the WEB-interfaces
- Interface module - via the NetHomeServers interfaces (TCP/IP, SOAP UDP/IP) you can let other software control the lamps
- Home automation - via NetHomeServer:s timers and other control objects you can automate and link events to actions on X10-controlled appliances.
NetHomeServer Modules
The X10-Related objects in the NetHomeServer are:
- X10Port - Connects with the hardware interface module
- X10Lamp - Controls switches and Dimmers
- X10HouseScene - Controls all switches and dimmers in a House segment
- X10RemapButton - Receives control messages (from buttons for instance) and maps this to any kind of NetHomeServer-actions.
